Dr Cate Price

Dr Cate Price has over 30 years of experience practising medicine. She has worked in most teaching hospitals in Adelaide and also Broken Hill and Melbourne. Dr Price has worked overseas in London and Italy and lived in Seattle, USA, for several years.

Dr Price has special interests in mental health counselling, children's health (Diploma in Child Health in 2015), and women's health (Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2015). She performs Mirena and Implanon insertions and removals and has an in-depth knowledge of contraceptive counselling. Dr Price provides Shared Antenatal Obstetric care with Flinders Medical Centre and the Women's and Children's Hospital as well as lactation advice.

Dr Price has a Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine and performs skin checks and lesion removals.

Dr Price is an accredited GP trainer, an examiner for the RACGP, a medical advisor for the Statewide Obstetric Shared Care Program, and the Medical Advisor for Flagstaff Hill Medical Centre. She was also an accredited Medical Educator for the GPEx institution, responsible for training doctors wishing to specialise in General Practice.

As of 2016, Dr Price has pursued further studies in medical education at Dundee University, UK.

Dr Price consults Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
