The Women’s Health Hub at Flagstaff Hill Medical Centre provides dedicated women’s health care in a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment.

Our clinic is led by Dr Lisa Walker and Dr Damilola Gawley, GPs with a special interest in women’s health.

We offer timely access to care, including:

• Same-week appointments for IUD/IUS insertions
• Urgent appointments for contraception and early pregnancy care

Women's Health Services

Contraception

We provide personalised contraception advice tailored to your health, lifestyle, and preferences. We will discuss the full range of contraceptive options, including oral contraceptives and Long-Acting Reversible Contraceptives (LARCs).

Services include:

• Contraception counselling and advice
• Emergency contraception
• Implanon insertion and removal
• IUD/IUS insertion and removal, including Mirena, Kyleena, and Copper IUDs

Pregnancy Care

• Pregnancy testing and counselling
• Preconception planning
• Antenatal and shared pregnancy care

Medical Termination of Pregnancy

We offer medical termination of pregnancy for pregnancies under 9 weeks.

Our care is:

• Confidential, supportive, and non-judgemental
• Focused on providing clear information about all available options
• Supported with follow-up care, often via telehealth
• Inclusive of contraception discussion and commencement if desired

Many patients are able to commence treatment on the same day or shortly after their initial appointment.

Menopause Care
